| The Principal Civil Engineer leads and supervises engineering staff in completing a wide variety of projects from the streets, utilities, and City buildings that serve our community’s daily needs to major upgrades at our airport, treatment plants, and operations facilities.
Staff enjoy guiding the full life cycle of projects from identifying needs and stakeholder engagement through funding acquisition, design, construction, performance oversight, and continual improvement. Our engineers build positive and collaborative relationships, communicate effectively, and serve in the best interest of our friends and neighbors who savor life on California’s central coast with us. |
